Remastered LA was founded by lifelong collector Matt Caputo, whose passion for sneakers and sports memorabilia began at just five years old starting out collecting Michael Jordan and Dale Earnhardt, thanks to his Dad who played a special role in his life.

From selling sneakers and throwback jerseys as a teenager in high school to working his very first retail job at The Finish Line, Matt’s path has always been rooted in sneaker culture. Over the years, he has built a career opening stores for Sneaker Villa and working with major retailers—fueling a deep love and understanding for all things sneakers, sports, and collectibles.

Through decades of collecting, Matt has acquired thousands of rare and iconic items, each carrying a piece of history and nostalgia. But the journey hasn’t been without its challenges—marked by trials, setbacks, and sacrifices that only strengthened his determination.

At the heart of it all, Remastered LA was created to share something truly special with the community that has inspired and supported Matt’s lifelong passion.
